There are so many to nominate. All the made-for-TV cartoons of long-running theatrical characters like Popeye and Bugs Bunny must be considered, particularly since they diluted the impact of the great original cartoons and gave many people the wrong idea ("Eh, Popeye toons are no good, look at that stuff!"). Okay, "Vengeance" first appeared in SUB-MARINER COMICS# 35, back in August 1954 (admittedly a few years back). These scans are taken from its reprinting in MARVEL SUPER-HEROES# 16 in 1968 (which actually is not much more recent from today's viewpoint but let's skip that).
