Two Weeks In At AECOMHAÜS

The new workplace is growing on me, and may well be growing in me, if the construction dust induced cough doesn't let up soon.
The 'social area' on our floor, a.k.a. the kitchen, has acquired a rug with a certain Let's Decorate The Kid's Room vibe; It has oversize daisies & a shades of green pattern which I cannot help but interpret as a classified elevation model, so it's a bit hilly. Hopefully we can get film of a bunch of engineers sitting cross-legged on said map as someone in one of the red chairs (some of the chairs are red, by the way, with a classic 'wooden chair' look to them, but are metal. \m/ ) and reading from a report.

I've learned that, due to the joys of busses & congestion, it's a good idea to be on the bus by 4:45 at the latest, otherwise it's a slow crowded trip through the Central Auckland Traffic Scrum. Not sure what happened today though; It's been a pretty easy run.
Getting away for that schedule is a bit of an issue though; I've been getting to work around 8, so I'm all done by 4, but getting away doesn't always happen.
