I hate Poker
Aloha,
The recent expansion in the popularity of Poker confuses me pisses me off. I cannot understand how a 'sport' which is so fundamentally boring can acheive any level of global popularity. Furthermore, I cannot understand how the most boring form of this sport , Texas Hold 'em, has managed to become the dominant style. Poker also seems to hide behind a shrowd of cool but if you look at the professionals in the 'sport', overweight, balding, middle-aged men in flannelette shirts and chemist-brand sunglasses, you'll realise that these are just nerds finding an easy way to capitalise on their mathematical abilities.
I play a lot of pool, but I don't insist on it being crammed down the throats of every person on the planet. This is because i realise that for most people pool is boring... so if you play poker SHUT THE FUCK UP.
