(no subject)
Scotch tape open binding, while super effective, was not my best idea. Holy god my sides hurt now, ive got these HUGE raised red marks where the tape was.
So Saturday I was rushed and couldn't post. Our panel went great, some things could have been better, but overall I think we did well and we were met with good reviews. That day I pretty much spent pissing around the dealers room and buying things. I got this Miku Hatsune music box ive been looking for forever! It was originally discontinued, however they came out with a version 1.5 of it so I bought that. Personally I would have liked to have had the original but oh well. I already had the Levan Polkka version, this was the Ballad version, so now I have the set.
I went home for dinner then came back in my in-progress Effy Stonem cosplay, which I think will look good once I cement it down. I do look like her I think, with makeup on and my hair a mess. Amanda, Liz, Amanda's cool friend (who I was never formally introduced to i'm pretty sure but I think her nickname is Junior) and I pissed around the hotel bar taking pictures (I took a few) and then we raved a little, and I went into one of the Hentai game show panels before I had to leave to go home for the night.
We agreed that today would be Hetalia Hangover day, so we all came as our countries' hungover/drunk versions. Those were amusing. We were pretty awesome, especially since each one of us has a different twist on our cosplay.
We were hanging out, and I ran into the dealers room to see if they had a Prussia Poken cap, but they didn't so I came back out, but then everyone was gone. I knew we were going to have a photoshoot so I tried to call Liz or Amanda, but they didn't have their phones, so I tried finding them for like a half hour but I couldn't until I found Liz out of cosplay and found out the photoshoot was over. I talked to the Russia and he said that it was a lot of fun and the photos were awesome, and I was like T^T -sniffle-.
I'm really disappointed I missed that because I was looking really forward to it, especially since I didn't get to be a part of any photoshoots this weekend and the ones Liz showed me were really fantastic, and I was really really proud of my drunk!Spain cosplay. After that I was just pretty bummed so I went home. Hopefully some of the group shots people took of us will end of on deviantART...bfuibfdsuibfsiudbgdsigds why did I step away for like five minutes. Sort of a shitty was to end the con, but the rest of the weekend was fun so fuck it. I'm going to go take my big girl panties off my head, put them on, and wash all the lipstick Japan put on my body off in the shower. Yeah, I REALLY hope some of these pictures show up. For you all.
