April Creative Muses- Two sides of the Same Coin

Peter had never felt the telekinesis from this side of things. When Sylar used it to fling him back against the wall, his heart started racing. He stared Sylar in the face, concentrating on which of his abilities would be best suited to fight against this man who was terrorizing the country with this telekinetic skull-opening. Before he could think clearly enough about anyone he had met to channel an ability strong enough, Sylar was pointing a finger at his forehead, and Peter felt his skin starting to tear, and then instantly stitch itself back up again. He knew that he had to help Mohinder get off the ceiling, but Syalr’s grip on him was too strong. With a sigh, Peter mustered up all of his energy and fired back at Sylar with his own telekinesis.

‘You’ve used my own power against me!’ the gruff man thought inside his mind. Peter’s telepathy kicked in and he heard this.

“It’s not yours!” Peter shouted. “None of them are! You’ve been stealing people’s powers, trying to make up for a life where no one thought you were special”.
When he felt Sylar getting up off of the floor and moving towards him, he turned invisible, and tried to move over to Mohinder.

“Where are you?” Sylar screamed. “I want to know how you work!”
“You’ll have to try harder than that to get inside my head” Peter’s voice echoed from somewhere Sylar couldn’t see. Sylar was getting frustrated, Peter could sense it. Even though Sylar’s powers were not natural, the manipulations to his genetic code still placed on the level for Peter to sense shifts in his power. Peter focused his telekinetic ability to pull the staples out of Mohinder’s clothes, and caught him as he plummeted down from the ceiling.
