Yamada Ryosuke
Was a good-looking boy in the middle of his high-school years. He was 16 years old and some rumors mention him as a multi task talent >Nothing seem to be a problem for him<.
Yamada doesn't talked so much about hi family, he kept them as a secret, but he had a poor heart and every student liked him a lot.
He was popular and his classmates loved to hang out with him, because if you had Yamada by your side, you never felt bored and maybe you become popular too.
In the school-list he wasn't the best, but he wasn't so bad either. Things he knew, he shared with his classmates. Things he didn't knew, he never asked about help,because he wanted to learn them by himself. It was like he was a bit of too arrogant, to admit that he needed some lecture.
All in all, was Yamada Ryosuke not more or less as a normally student, with normally problems and a good-looking face.
- The last minutes of the last lesson -
His eyes moved from the blackboard back to his paper. Above his lesson notices emblazoned
some of his bored-arts, which showed his sensei as a pig, a frog and something like a cow-dog. Nothing special.
Chinen Yuri smiled as he looked at his bored-art. The young and small guy loved to draw, but he wasn't good enough that he would do drawing as his hobby.
“It can't be?”, whispered some of his female classmates and Yuri looked up.
“Sure! Takeshi-kun saw someone on the roof”, hissed a other classmate back and now the classroom was full of whispering.
“No way! Who should jump at this time?”
“In the middle of the lesson!”
“Impossible...maybe he is just a poser!”
“Right! Right! He should have looked completely down. Like he really want to do >it
“Committing suicide?”
“I want to see it!”
“That poser! He just want attention!”
“Well~ well let's bet if he had the guts to jump!”
“ Yah~ hahaha...”
Chinen couldn't believe was his classmates were laughing about. If someone really tried to commit suicide, shouldn't they stop him instead of betting if he jumping or not?
Yuris glance began to wandered, but everyone seemed to make fun of that poor guy.
The small, squirrel-ish boy was about to stood up, as the school bell rang and someone appeared in the classroom.
“Minna~ there is really someone on the roof. He yelled something! Let's watch him!”, shouted the boy of the class 2C and waved with his hand, like he wanted to animated Yuris class to going with him.
Everybody stood up and followed that guy the stairs down - to watch the boy on the roof - Expected of one - Chinen Yuri took the opposite and ran the stairs up, to reach the roof.
What was with them? Nobody looks for that guy , was Chinen thinking as he finally reached the roof. It was nobody here...Nobody was really interested in helping...all pupils only thought that the boy was a poser...How pitiful of them.
Cautiously he opened the door and stepped out onto the roof , the wind was heavy and Chinen tried to detect something in the strong light of the setting sun. There was a silhouette , very finely drawn and it looked like the setting sun would took away that human being, which stood there with wide open arms. His heart pounded hard against his chest and he walked nearer to that boy.
“Ano...”, started Chinen very quietly, because he didn't have any thought what should he said in such a situation.
The boy on the roof edge turned around and Yuri was able to see the endless tears, which flowed down. It never happened before...but that scene hit him right in his heart.
Why wasn't anyone here to helped him?
Why was he crying like that?
Why didn't give anyone him a hand, before he fall?
All the questions suddenly came into his mind and the little boy took a step forward.
“P-Please don..don't do that-”, begged Chinen the boy on the roof edge and smiled encouragingly.
“I-It won't helping you if you jum-”
“What did you know, huu? What making you believe, that this isn't the best solution for me?”
“I..uhm..jumping down and dying will never be the best solution!”
“Are you sure?”
“Hai! Totally!”
The boy in front of Chinen laughed hard, even though his tears won't stop, he couldn't hold his laughter back any longer. That laughter brought Chinen to distorted his face.
“You didn't know anything...well it's okay..Why should you know about the real, cruel life?”, asked the boy himself and turned around again. “Hyaa..don't look away...then tell me about the real, cruel life! Tell me why do you want to jump over that roof edge..under the eyes of thousands of students and teachers?!”, forced Yuri the other boy and walked nearer to him.
“It's because...I don't live my life...How am I? Why am I here? You all...here and there..you all know about your sweet and charming life! I never got the chance to be myself...I ever had to play my role...be a good son, be a good buddy, be a good stutdent...I hate them...I hate them all..My family...my so-called friends...the teachers...No one cares about me...about my innerself...And not even you...you are same like these freaky-faces down there. So leave me..and live your sweety-life!”
The words were hard and full of unspoken feelings and Chinen got them all.
The fear-
The lost hope -
The broke faith -
The dying heart -
The innerself of that boy -
“Well then...let's jump!”, said the smaller boy and climbed over the railing, to stood beside the other boy, which looked totally puzzled in Yuris direction.
Chinen laughed a bit, but he stopped as he realized that it was really high. “Well~”, started Chinen and clung on the railing.”L-let's..jump...y-y-ou wan-want it, deshou...S-so..let's do it!” The other boy was surprised by the sudden action of Chinen and he thought that the small guy, was just making fun of him, like the other students did.
“Nani?”
“Gosh...don't be such a baka...Want to jump or not?”
“Tzt..sure I want..I'm not a..s-s-s-scaredy cat like you!”, said the other boy and looked forward, took a deep breath in and was about to jump.
“Matte!”
„Huu? What is...don't disturb me...What is“, asked the boy and looked to Chinen, like he really want to know.
“I just want to know your name, before we jump!”
“Ahh..well..Yamada Ryosuke...”
“AhYamada-kun, my name is Chinen Yuri yoroshiku!”
“What is with that yoroshiku..we don't need names at all...”
“Ahh I forget..okay let's contain!”, said Yuri and patted Yamada softly on the shoulder, Ryosukes looked again totally puzzled, but then he also turned around and looked forward.
He never thought that something like that could happened, but he saw it, directly,clear, unstoppable...

He looked above, over their heads flew a few black birds. The sky was dyed already blue-purple and only three or four clouds was moving on the sky. It was such a nice and calming atmosphere.
“So it must be after the death...”
“Don't get emotional... “
“What are you saying...you have a really sharp-mouth..for someone small like you!”
“Oi don't call me small!”
“It was great....”
“Un...”, admitted Chinen, while he swung his legs over the actual roof edge and looked at the beautiful sunset , together with Yamada which sat close beside him.
