I like integrating language arts into social studies. Let's fact it, the two are cousins. However, doing certain aspects on a school-organized calendar is just irritating. I see why the administration doesn't want it to be fit in willy nilly as the teacher thinks it applies because then there is no reinforcement in the students' other classes. ( Read more... )
