004: Astoundment [video/open | action/locked to cherrywood ]
[it's been a couple days since he received an egg from an anonymous sender, and today... It was time for it to hatch.]
[having planned for it to happen since he had predicted the time of hatching somewhat accurately, Light decided he would put up a video post, as a bit of a topic for discussion, and to attract the attention of others. After all, from what he had seen of the patterns on the egg, he could tell that the egg was going to hatch into an Eevee, and had already prepared a name for it--
though how a creature that clearly looks like a mammal would be hatched from an egg... he'll just try not to think about it.]
[sure enough, the feed flips on, to reveal Light's handsome-as-ever smiling face and charming demeanor]

[the feed pans away from him, and to an egg placed comfortably upon a cushion. Those familiar with the egg's patterns might be able to discern the same as Light did - that it's a Eevee inside]
Any moment now...
[sure enough, just moments after he says that, the egg begins to wobble a little, the movements inside becoming obvious. Soon, cracks appeared, and with it glowing white, the egg soon changed in form, into that of an Eevee's, before the light faded away, to reveal a cute little Eevee yelping away in her little voice.]
Ee! Eevee!
I'll call you... Amaterasu. [He decides, thinking of training her at the precise timings, so as to evolve her into an Espeon, the Sun pokémon.]
