a death in the family
firm_detective and
misamisal are standing in a hallway, outside of a door with an apple-shaped rug in front of it. This room belongs to
justiceishot, who has been in a precarious mental state due to the disappearance of the two Bs he loves,
mukou_tanjoubi and
lue_theday.
The last time anyone saw
justiceishot, he'd mistaken
beyond_boredom for
mukou_tanjoubi... and while this made the few people who are actually familiar with both men highly uncomfortable, the fact that
beyond_boredom was willing to go along with the charade seemed to cause a marked and rapid improvement in
justiceishot 's general well-being.
Friends of this pink-haired L realized that interfering would certainly harm him, and resolved to check on his health and whereabouts as much as they could.
firm_detective, who comes from the same world as
beyond_boredom, even warned the B against doing anything that might hurt
justiceishot, hoping that it might make a difference.
It's been a day or so since
misamisal last saw
justiceishot, so she's asked
firm_detective to accompany her to the other L's room, to see how he's doing.
The only problem is that they've been knocking on the locked door for several minutes, and there's no answer.
That's because
justiceishot has already been dead for some time.
