Repost! Masquerade ball
Mikami just wasn't in the mood for this at the moment.
...Well, he probably wouldn't go to any event like this on his own free will any time, but right now he really didn't feel like dressing up with masks and extravagant outfits. he could also deal without the mirrored walls and the many mannequins scattered about the room. It made him feel surrounded. He lifted his hands up and felt the mask that covered his own face, and much to his distaste, it wouldn't budge. it seemed that the mansion was playing with him again.
He looked over, and realized that one of the mannequins he seen, was actually him in the mirror, dressed up in these Victorian-era-like clothing. He had a dark purple mask with beads covering the top half of his face, and black and dark purple waistcoat, pants, and coat, with a sequin-adorned cape. He sighed audibly, and looked around the confusing room. He kept on mistaking the mannequins for people, and the mirrored walls made it haarder to navigate his way through here. He was only further irritated he couldn't find the door through all of this...
