This has been one helluva day.
All the children are driving him insane with this evacuation - half can't wait to get out of the House, and the others are grumbling and dragging their feet like the lazy birds they are. He's been ready to pull out the rest of what little hair he has left for the past several hours.
Now they go to finally board the plane, minus O and D, who have gone off somewhere with Near, when Roger walks out the front door - only to reappear inside somewhere. A hallway. He stops, turning, and mumbles a curse when he finds more hallway instead of the front door to Wammy's. The kids are gone to boot.
"Huh. This might not be so bad," he says, a small smile tugging at his lips as the sheer silence overwhelms his senses.
