Oh damn! Today, went with two friends to Kuni Ya Sushi (advertising ^^) for AYCE(it stands for All You Can Eat Mel! so it's AYCE-ing not ACE-ing.) Sadly, i was not told of this before hand and was given 2 hours notice (not that bad actually) which when i received the notice, i was already eating some rice noodle with beef... the one with the sauce poured on top (濕炒牛河). But hey... i suddenly craved for sushi so i came out and went to eat anyways.
So we get to Kuni Ya Sushi and Mel makes a huge order. I told her to calm down and do it in rounds cause there's no space for all the food but obviously she didn't learn from the last time we were there. And damn i was right. We ordered:
Sashimi - 20 Salmon, 15 soft shell clam, 10 tuna
Sushi - 4 Shrimp(Ebi), 6 Eel (Unagi), 3 Crab (Kani)
Special Roll - Spicy California, Spider, Black Dragon, Yummy(try something new)
Kitchen - 1 green salad, 1 soba salad, 3 miso soup, 2 yakitori (chicken on stick), some tofu dish, Teriyaki Salmon, Lemon Chicken, 3 Gyoza, 3 shrimp tempura, and 4 onion rings
Now it doesn't seem so much now that i'm reflecting back on it but by the end, there were bout 4 pieces of Yummy left, 4 unagi, lemon chicken barely touched, and the teriyaki salmon unfinished. I blame this on me. If i had not eaten, i would've finished the rest and I forget that Jason can't eat... he's all talk. Mel probably ate the most and i think i'm willing to say i came second... despite my meal that i had 2 hours before.
Luckily they didn't charge us extra for leaving the food even though it was written leftovers are charged A La Carte.
Maybe they remembered us since we went a few times. The boss's son takes a liking to Jason. Jason lures the little boy with his cellphone and they're now on a first name basis. Too bad the little boy didn't see Jason today cause Jason was hiding... but last time, the little boy came up to Jason and went "Jason... Jason" while tugging Jason, "can i play with your cellphone?" He even gave Jason a special treat which neither Mel nor I got. I think the boy's name was either Brian or Brandon. Oh did i mention? the little boy looked no older then 8 *cough* pedophile *cough*.
At the restaurant, Jason convinces me that Jane is in love with him but Jason denies that under no circumstances would he ever have a relationship with her(which we believe is a lie.) In the end, we think that Jason's gonna eat his own words and start a relationship with her and maybe even get married and have kids with her. Jason would probably end up happier if they end up marrying each other. I'm waiting that 10 years from now, we're gonna sit at a bar or something and reflect back and the words "i told you so!" will definitely arise
