God damn TTC... I swear outta all public workers, ttc workers are the worse and they have a shitty attitude. WTF is their problem? They give so much shit and they cause problems for anyone who looks like they're in a gang or hobo-like. That's very disrepectful. They're also very lazy and break a long time in between stops at the stations. I live near Ossington station so i'm often at the station waiting for the bus. Ossington Station is an inbetween stop for the 63 bus making that station just another bus stop. Yet there are times where the driver sits there for 10 minutes reading a paper! I can't believe my gr.6 goal was to be a bus driver... (there is a story to this but i'm not gonna bother to write about it) The service is shit but yet they always demand for pay raises and more benefits -_-".
Today, i had a bad experience with the TTC. Not exactly the ttc's fault... possibly the driver. Anyways, here's the story:
I got off class around 6 today and i usually take the subway home... trying to be smart and to avoid rush hour in the subway, i decided to get off at Wellsley station and take the bus home. After all... i've been through rush hour at 8 in the morning and 6 at night... they're both not pretty. It feels like an orgy with all the physical contact in there. That's not the worse part... the worse part is that the morning rush, walking into the subway is like walking into a perfume store... it doesn't smell good when a whole blast of perfume and cologne just goes through ur nose. Then at night where everyone is going home after work, that rush smells like you're at a gym's dressing room. Very bad B.O. i can't say it's worse then the smell in the morning cause they both smell like shit!
So i went up the stairs at Wellsley station and walk to the westbound bus to go home... and to my luck, a bus was there! If i miss this bus, i'd have to wait 15 minutes for the next one. I hurriedly rushed on the bus and went to the back and sit down, hoping that i can bring out my laptop and prepare notes for a test i have next week. So after i get on, the bus circles around and gets to the exit like it usually do. At the exit, it starts leaning to the left... in my head, the first alarm bell went off. "Left? why is he tilting left? West is right side" I shrugged it off as the driver being very bad and he can't make a right turn unless he gave himself more space... DAMN I WAS WRONG... he turned left and kept going... The alarm bells were still in my head... i tried to comfort myself and think "oh... maybe there's construction somewhere and he has to take a roundabout route." 2 stops later, i finally panicked and got off the bus. I chose not to ask the bus driver cause i did not want to seem like a fool. What confuses me is that no1 else panicked although like 3 people had left on the first stop and by the time i got off, it had gone from the 15 ppl who were on since the station to the 3 that were left.
So i went across the street and waited for the westbound... again. After 12 minutes in the cold while i was starving, a bus finally came. I didn't think about it till i got onto the bus where i thought i should've looked at the sign to see where the bus was going but i prayed that it would go to ossington station. Back at Wellsley station, he parked the bus exactly the same place i got on... my second alarm bell went off... paranoia started throwing questions in my head. "what if they changed the rules? Maybe the 94 bus is switched to two routes instead of 1. Maybe one bus goes from ossington to wellsley and the other goes from castle frank to wellsley? What if they changed parking areas?" my mind didn't have to wait too long to get its' answers... right after the passengers got on, the bus finally leaves. I was at the edge of my seats prepared to get off at the first stop if it turns left again... Once again, the bus turns around and heads to the exit... Finally it made a turn to the right and i relaxed. It took me 45 minutes longer to get home then i usually did cause of this ordeal.
My judgment of what happened? The bus driver was new so he didn't know where to park. It makes sense since he left the station on time...
On a side note, today, Mel was either PMS-ing or she took some bitch pills. Whatever it was, she was a lot more sarcastic then usual and a lot more snappy with her replies. She does this all the time but today she seems a bit more bitchy then usual. Can't believe i was to be blamed for my long ride home... I didn't realized i had to ask the bus driver of a bus i normally take whether it'd go to my stop...
Thanks Mel! You're the best bitch i know! ^^
