I have a few questions here since I'm more likely to catch you here than AIM.

Anyway, would OCs be allowed in on this or just the canon pirates from said movies? I'm sure I need a way to get my own out there again and have been thinking of picking up another OC who's... not... as dumb as it were as my current one.

Any other info regarding where the magic came from and what kind of magic would be awesome as well, since I'm curious to mechanics like that.

well, initially I will just be needing the pirate lords, so no real OCs there. However, feel free to jump in on the D_M posts and we'll see how involved they get! Jack has already acquired an OC cabin boy >_> soooo... Anything is possible.

As for the magic responsible: the favor was done by a Potterverse OC. The plan was to return life to the wood of the ship so it could "heal" and then the spell would be ended. Instead, it made the wooden ship a living girl (who happens to smell like old, singed wood and sea spray...but that's neither here nor there.)

Ah-hah, well, either way that ought to prove interesting when it comes down to it.

I had a sneaking suspicion that it was a Potterverse pup, but I'm weird like that. Well, either way it sounds interesting to me to just read or some such for the time being.
