After the great temples and the palace, we hiked to the Palenque museum via a long, circuitous trail full of slippery, worn out stone steps. There was a lot of the sideways walk going on there. Prep for Mexico is coming along. I desperately need to file for my passport, though. I'm scared I've put it off too long. Prof. McL says it takes about 2 1/2 weeks, which is comfortably within my remaining time period, but I'm still worried.
