Things are finally getting into gear here as we enter the second week of class. I'm sure most everyone else is well past that point, but I'm used to that now after 4 years here. My classes this quarter are gonna be a bitch. There's just no way around it. I've got to make up for the ones I missed in Spain, and so this is when I'm paying for goofing off in Europe for 3 months. Combining that with playing on the frisbee team and writing for the paper, its gonna be a busy quarter. Frisbee is going well so far, I've learned a lot in just the few weeks I've been playing with the team. In two weeks we're heading to St. Olaf to play in a tournament, which is cool cause that is where Patrick transferred, and I just found out that he's playing on the team there.
Here's my column for this week, it's quite different from the last one, but this is something I really wanted to write about. After Harvard and Princeton announced they were ending their early admission programs, people questioned Northwestern about it, but the administration just completely shrugged it off as if its not harmful to some students.
