Well..
Made it through Memorial Day weekend.
The lake was up 3' higher than it was last year, so that made for lots of boats on the lake... however, the weather did not cooperate as it was windy and made for a rough day on the lake with whitecaps and pretty good rollers - looked about like Puget Sound.
Only had major problems with one campsite - a group of girls who got a little drunk and had a friend get sick in the tent, so they were up all night around the campfire trying to stay warm. This brought complaints in the morning from the campers on boths sides of them, so I evicted them. Didn't have any problem renting the campsite out again.
I worked 33 hours over the 3 days... Worked a split all three days.. 8 am to 1 pm or so, then back again at 6 or 7 and stayed until about midnight. There a lot of people that think I've been there since 8 am and don't realize I took part of the day off.
Weather wasn't great either. Highs were only in the mid 60's, lows in the 40's and the wind was anywhere from 10 to 20 or 30 mph most of the weekend.
Now, my next really busy weekend is the 4th of July and then things will stay pretty busy through Labor Day and then drop off to almost nothing.
I leave on vacation on Saturday. I'm headed to Orlando. Haven't been there for about 10 or 11 years or so. I've done the Disney thing before. So this time I bought a flex ticket that's good at Universal Orlando, Sea World, Busch Gardens, Wet n Wild and Island of Advenure and some of the other stuff at Universal. It's good for 14 days once I use it the 1st time and allows unlimited admission into the attractions.
So I figure between that and some time relaxing around the condo pool - that should keep me busy. Now if I could only find a nice guy to come with me... :)
