There are a few additional stories included with the Merlin's Wood novel.  One of them is called "Earth and Stone".  It has researchers going back to mythic time and encountering a tribe led by Tig, first encountered in the novel Lavondyss.  The scene is in Ireland at the time of the building of Newgrange.
