You've beautifully pushed the envelope of the expected in this offering. It's really unusual, and I like it very much. I particularly love the pictures on the wall as the faceless couple dances past. It gives Draco and Hermione something of a timeless quality.

I had a bit of difficulty seeing the images, but I resized the image on my screen and it worked pretty well.

Thank you for the kind comments!

Do you mean you had trouble seeing the original image (the 1168x864 image?) Because the small image in the post is just intended to be a preview, I would never leave it as that. But I figured I wouldn't post the original because it stretches out the post and nobody likes that :P

You're most welcome.

Well, actually I did have trouble in the full-sized image. But don't gauge it by me. I wear glasses and other people might not have any trouble at all. I was able to adjust the size of my screen without any trouble and I thoroughly enjoyed the image. It was very thoughtful of you to 'bury' the image.

Amy, Amy, Amy.

I had intended to save my reviews for the very last second, but I just had to say something. As soon as I knew you were participating (after having initially mistook you for the writing category), I was excited to see what you would come up with for your recipient. I've been waiting for your post, and I'm flush with amazement. You've done it again and, yes, you will be hearing this forever because it's true.

This piece still has the same characteristics that I can clearly identifiy as Amy, but it's also stylistically different in a way. I can't really figure out why, but there's just something, you know? I love the textures, the drawing, the choice of typeface and arrangement, the text. You're brilliant in knowing what looks good, and it never fails to impress.

Lovely work! And it's the only graphic medium I'm adding to my memories because I simply can't ignore this.

Thannnnnnks, Ez. And I'm glad I have a recognizable style!

You're brilliant in knowing what looks good

I'm happy you think so because sometimes I wonder what I'm doing when I'm pushing around pictures aimlessly on Photoshop.

Thank you again!

THANK YOU! I was so nervous about posting because I've been talking to you about this too much and was extremely worried you'd be let down :P

You reaffirm my faith and you make me feel good to be a graphic artist :)

I was slightly worried that my main text (the "philosophers" quote) was a little too much but I really like to see D/Hr as equals rather than something else, so they can both be uppity philosophers in my book :D

Too much smilies! :P :) :D

Thank you again, Betty!

That is AWESOME, Amy. I know you were having trouble, so I wonder--do you like it? Because I think it's great. I love and am amazed at all the details you think to put in, like the scratchy quality of the background and the variation in color on the wallpaper.

:D

Thanks! I'm glad you don't think the details are too much, I just felt like I couldn't stop adding things to it because it felt so baaaaaare.

I forgot to add that I love your title! You know, really good titles are hard to come by--really really hard to come by. But I love yours. It's unique.

!!! I got so excited when I saw this on my flist :P This is so, so awesome. The details are AMAZING--the picture frames, the texture of the wallpaper, which is SO elegant. You chose the most perfect pictures to include. The text? Is also perfect.

Wonderful work!
