...just mailed me her copy of Tudor Tailor, [replacing mine] which seems to have gone missing the abyss of my house somewhere.  I was actually going to start working on the gowns today without the book, working from paintings and woodcuts, but I now have a semi-live reference for my work.

Went to L.A. today, and picked up the now infamous "Roebuck" fabric in red for Joannie's surcoat, and a length of it in black for April's new French Henriquian dress. I also cleaned out "Beads and Trim" of their table cut diamonds, and grabbed the last gross package on the shelf of their table cut topaz as well ( Read more... )
