Sometimes, you want to make a good impression on someone. Or hell, maybe not even a good impression, but just a not-bad impression. You might wish to appear thoughtful, witty and clever, and you might try to say things that hopefully reflect those desirable traits.

But sometimes, that can go horribly wrong.

This made me smile. It's from Neil Gaiman's blog, describing a recent experience where he was walking around Sydney and spotted someone with a tattoo that was a quote from Sandman. How incredibly cool is that? You're just walking down the street and you happen to see someone who has something you wrote tattooed on their body. So. Very. ( Read more... )
