Hmmmm
So today has been an odd day. After Miriam and I thought we had everything sorted with visas etc etc etc, it looks like our attorney is playing funny games...she's been impossible to get hold of...but considering she's called Laura Devine of Devine Solicitors (soliciting and devine in the same sentence?!), and is probably moonlighting as a pornstar...I suppose we shouldn't be surprised...
Other than that, I've folded 300 letters and stuffed them into envelopes to send them to the US....now I'm not saying that I hate doing that kind of work, but let me run past you the things about it that irritate me:
1. Piers had the option of safguarding my sanity and £300 (yes...$600!) if we used the USPS fulfilment service to send out the mailing...now...his reason for not using them...that the people we're sending the letters to would be more likely to open a letter if it had an airmail sticker on it!...weirdo!
2. If you are insistent on the above...don't complain and question me when the postage comes to £204 (yes...$400!!)...and then say that we can't afford to employ someone to watch the phones, because two of us are working full time to stuff the envelopes when he wants them done by!
3. I hate papercuts.
Venting done...that's about it today...
