Leaving on a jet plane....
So Miriam and I have decided on a date to leave (and return) for the US. 
We have finally confirmed that we will be leaving the UK for the 9 day visa torture from April 29, and will be hopefully be returning with visa on May 7, (the day before my brothers birthday).
We are also, sadly, having to leave the apartment I have been living in for 2 years now, because apparently we can't live there under the terms of the visa. And hell, I don't want to be caught in the US with rent to pay here. It's quite upsetting to be leaving the flat, but it will give me the opportunity to start anew, and more importantly to give the two of us a life that we can both settle in to.
So we're moving out, putting everything into storage, and then moving in somewhere else as soon as we can.
More of an update later...for the time being, I have to fold and stuff 300 letters.......
