Well, I'm back! I figure I've got a bit more free time now-a-days, and probably a bit more to talk about.
At the moment I'm quite tired. I overslept, and that is the the most horrible thing. It's extra horrible, because I've been working overtime, lately. 10-hour-days. And when you do that, on top of oversleeping, you have about 2 hours of time to yourself. 2 hours. That's nothing. My whole day is going to be work. It truly is teh suck.
My overtime ends tonight, though, so after tonight, it's going to be much better. And on top of that, my parents and brother are leaving for the weekend, to go up to Johnson Valley. They go ride ATV's in the desert, and camp for a night. I would go, too, but I work. So that's somewhat unfortunate. But I'll have time all to myself, which is always pleasant.
One thing I did want to post about, is a song I helped with. It's a cover of Opeth's "Demon of the Fall." If you have never heard Opeth, and are into heavy music, then give it a listen. This is without anyone doing the vocals, too, so all you have is the music to enjoy. Here's a link to the download:
http://s25.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2MIJOT9T2VG2T2PO4KC5W5ATS3 It's been up for a while, so it might die, soon. If you want to hear it, and it's dead, just leave a comment, and I'll upload a new one.
I'm currently practicing my growl technique and otherwise learning to sing. Better, more efficiently, and how to breathe, all that. It's really hard. Just to do the singing part, right. And I thought I did that part okay. But, damn. There's so much more, and just a genuinely better way to do it. Singing that deep, it's good. I'm a big guy, do you know how much power I've got in my diaphragm? I mean, seriously. Haha. So yeah, one of these days that file might have some vocals thrown on it, too.
Anyways, this is enough. I need to get some food, and to get ready for work. And finish Star Trek. Woot-woot.
