I am thinking of adding a Wiki to use as a general home knowledge base. Any recommendations?

Ok, so we have a digital camera. We go on a trip, take pictures, fill up the cards. Next day, time to take more pictures. Admittedly, we weeded out the mediocre ones from the previous day, but we still will need a whole new set of cards. Barring taking my laptop with me, it seems like you would need a ton of cards to cover a vacation. What it would be nice to have is basically just a portable hard drive with a compact flash reader that you could just stick the card in and it would have just enough smarts to slurp it up and shove it into a folder. If it could do more, that would be fine, but that would be the minimum requirement. Does anything like this exist on the market?
