Up to date on HIMYM
Instead of writing an extremely significant paper crap! I spent the entire day powering through How I Met Your Mother. I am now completely ready for the premiere on Monday (and am only slightly ticked that I haven't got television...)
I did skip a few episodes (which I tried not to)... some I had to skip because the website it was on was just too weird to navigate. And the others I can just go back to when I have more time.
I loved loved loved LOVED it. I love the way they tell certain stories, with a bit of foreshadowing here and a bit of foreshadowing there and loads, but not that many, interlocking parts. Like Marshall's hat at his wedding, the chopsticks in the cigar cases... it's all so random and the story that puts it all together is hilarious.
I also liked Ted's romantic pieces: searching New York for Victoria, the two minute (and 22 second) date with Stella... they were all so sweet.
That said, Barney/Robin yes!!! *coughs* That was the reason why I powered through to the end. We get at least six episodes of the writers playing around with this... it can only end with them NOT together, I can't see any other way but I don't want it to be like that... but it is going to be hil-ah-ree-us in the meantime.
