If anyone's wondering, the recent D&D stuff is because I'm going to try a play-by-post game on Roleplay Online, with other City of Heroes players from the forums.

It's a high-powered campaign. Stats are rolled with 5d6, discarding 1s and 2s and taking the three highest rolls, and getting a freebie 18. This means that none of my stats are below 16 ( Read more... )

Me: I haven't thought of one yet. (pause) Am I really that predictable?

So it took me a full three hours today before I finally realized that I had been trying to work out the exact specific mechanics for Cupid's arrows according to D&D 3.5e rules.

I think I got as far as "assume Cupid is epic-level", "size Tiny", "Unlimited Ammunition enchantment", and "not a composite shortbow".
