Well, maybe they could have a "What if Michael took over Dean?" scenario, but in the actual fight that doesn't happen? Then those who want Dean as Dean to defeat Lucifer are happy and those curious to see Dean taken over by an angel will have a glimpse...
The more I think about it the more I want to see Micheal but not in Dean's body. I want them to interact. I want Dean as himself to defeat Lucifer. I want Dean/Sam/Cas to defeat Lucifer together.
I got Season 1! Dean vibes, for some reason. Just his actions and his look reminded me of how he was in the past. I wonder if that's intentional. I do miss S1! Dean because he seemed much more at ease and sure of himself... I definitely don't mind him being all hardcore - Dean's not going to let angels like Zachariah push him around.
I really loved the season one vibes:D I miss that Dean and the angsty Dean of season four just broke my heart. I hope this season will be Dean moving forward. The devil is walking on earth, angels and demons played games behind the scenes and now the world is at sake. I hope he's hardcore kick ass Dean ready to try to save the world instead "I feel so guilty/I can't do it" Dean.
Yes, there must be something Castiel is privy to that is making him more confident. I think mostly I felt his voice sounded a little different - much more intense, I think. His hair looked a bit different too, but it was the change in voice/tone that struck me the most.
I know what you mean. He knows (believes) God is on his side and the path he is walking is the right one. Poor Cas had doubts before but it must be freeing, as well as scary, to be thinking for himself now.
I think that makes the most sense. Someone high up is on Castiel's side, which could only help Dean. I do wonder what Cas thinks about Dean being Michael's vessel? Does he, like Zachariah, see this as the only option they have? If any angel could persuade Dean to consent to being taken over by an angel, it would have to be Castiel.
I wonder about what Cas thinks about it too. I don't trust Zachariah not to be on Lucifer's side. Maybe his plan to get Micheal in Dean's body is to kill them both at the same time or stop Dean by having angel on Zachariah's side in his body. I agree with you that Castiel is the only one who could persuade Dean to be a vessel.
Yeah, I agree. They forgot to take all the necessary procedures, which is all the more essential with the apocalypse upon them! *shakes head*
I wanted to slap them for that one. But I guess they are just freaking out about the apocalypse and sudden plane trip that just didn't think. I hope they learned their lesson. I can see why they didn't salt the windows/doors before because they thought Rudy was on side and thus she come and go. Now they know never trust a demon and salt the bloody room! lol
