X-Men Origins: Wolverine

The latest film, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, far surpassed my expectations. I was expecting crap after X-Men: The Last Stand (3), which was a horrible let down. On the contrary, the new one was chock full of amusing banter and solid character development. Of course, having Ryan Reynolds in the film was a surprising delight, even if his time on screen was occasional.

I feel dumb now, but I honestly never realized that Wolverine's brother was Sabretooth during the movie, even though I was getting that impression. I had to IMDB the movie later to make sure. The movie's story did a good job of pulling various mutants together, before Logan lost his memory.

Oh, and Gambit rocked. :D

My only regret was having to sit in a theater where the ventilation system was turned off. There were at least a dozen people coughing and the place reeked of sick people. Now, I am with ick. Yay.
