As much as I hate speculating on rumors and such, this one is just getting really really big. I'm linking articles from the Blizzard fansite I used to work on, so they are pretty trust worthy and know their stuff, but also the "big name" blogs are also posting about this (namely Kotaku).

Apparently Descent is popular enough to spawn a community rewrite of the game to make it playable for current PCs! I am all for this as I spent a lot of time between 1996-1998 (when StarCraft came out) playing this game ( Read more... )

Waiting outside of my EBGames right now and I think there are about ten people here and only about three or four of us actually getting the game, it's kinda funny =P.
