Where in California are you going? I went to San Francisco last October and it was great!! I keep trying to get Harry to move there ;)
Anyway, congrats on the new apartment and have fun on your trip!

We're going out to Los Angeles May 15-21 for this great big Video Game convention, called E3. Normally people outside the industry can't go, but Adam has connections so he'll be going.

I'm only going out there because I've never been and I want to go!!!!!! Also, there's some chick named Sam who might be fun to visit.

Well, Adam's the lucky girl who's going to E3 - it would've been too expensive for both of us to go, and it's more for him than me. I'm just going to California. My friend Sam lives out there, and I have some family to visit too.

Thanks for the congratulations - so far so good here!

Visiting Sam is good.... countfroggy February 19 2005, 06:27:31 UTC
Which relatives are on your list? Dumbo? Don't show him wedding pictures, make him come to you. When elephants fly!

The Dadu

PS I'd come up to help, but you are on your way here.

As Adam's connections, I can totally get you into E3 if you actually want to hit up the show. It's just more paperwork for Chris, really. And it's not like we don't already have like sixteen people coming under the Variant flag. I just figured you'd prefer hanging out with your friend more than playing pre-release video games and the next nex-gen console systems ;^>

Also: way to go Adam, getting the airfare early. I haven't even bought my ticket yet. Possibly because I'm chafed that it costs me as much to fly from Seattle to LA as it does for you to fly cross-country and more than it does for Chris to fly in from Detroit. *grumble grumble*

Congrats on settling into the new place finally, though. I hope you don't have any more weird experiences like chicken-nugget-pizza. That sounds a mini creepy, like maybe they were trying to scare you away. I think I would have put it in the bathtub and then hidden in my closet.

Doesn't it cost money to get into the con? You are right though, I am looking quite forward to hanging out with Sam, and I can't play video games anymore - they all give me vertigo. I *watched* Adam playing GTA: San Andreas and got nauseous. How sad, a geek who gets sick playing video games....
