here i was, worrying about how the neighborhood had changed a bit since i was a kid because people were going around smashing pumpkins...and BAM! with the perfect 'tough luck comedy movie' timing delivery...my car was broken into. sometime between 2am and 6am, which is when my mom gets up for work, iirc. stereo was taken. like...the WHOLE STEREO. so no more spiffy mp3 playing goodness for me for a long while again. back passenger side window is the one that they broke to get into the car. they definately rummaged through it to see if there was anything else worthwhile but i doubt they troubled themselves with CDs or the like. they flipped open the gas tank door for some reason...which makes my mom think that it might have something to do with the next door neighbors (whose truck also got hit last night) since i guess one of their kids butthole friends broke into the house a while back but maybe since they caught the person who did it, this might be some sort of revenge thing and maybe my car got involved. or at least was a crime of opportunity. from their driveway, it's pretty easy to see my car with it's iloveraving.com sticker on it, which means raver, which means 'must have a decent to great system to listen to the happy, fun thump thump musics, amirite?' anyways, mom thinks maybe they might've shoved something into the gas tank. i surely hope not but i guess we shouldn't be surprised if there was.

*sigh* maybe i'm just too damn tired to really think about it. i'm sure i'll miss my mp3 player and all but if anything, and i think with most people it's the same, and it really ties in with my 'smashing pumpkins' rant, it's not so much what was taken away as far as property so much as the feeling of safety in my childhood neighborhood. srsly, i don't think i've ever seen anything happen around here that really warranted the police coming in. it's just a small, middle class suburbia with a school 3 blocks away.

meh...

EDIT: [08:56am] *cues The Who - Who Are You* well, cops are here and it looks like the dumbasses left blood on the scene! whoo! so they've called in...THE CSI! WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

...what? i have to get some kind of enjoyment out of this. >_> i was wondering what that smudge was on the side of my car when i first went out to look at it. i guess i'm lucky it didn't rain much, if at all, during the night though it looks like they also got blood on a shirt i had in the back of the car as well so...sucks to be them if they get caught. :x ALL YOUR DNA IS BELONG TO COPS! WAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA~!
