so i go into class today and realize that only about 15 out of 30 people are there. the teacher says, "well, i guess we know who did and didn't do their business term papers." there's a healthy stack of papers lying face down next to the podium from his last class. the first word that comes to mind is, "shit!" i debate leaving class and doing the whole report on the business aspect of borders before class ends, but decide on a lesser fate: i'll ask for an extention when class ends. knowing i'm in for it, i walk up to him and casually ask, "any chance i can turn in the paper tomorrow for a-" but he cut me off. "yeah, sure." and waves me away. so i guess we got lucky this time.
news for today
*dustin got two new chickens! check his journal for pictures, which i'm sure he'll post. he found three roosters on a stoop behind (where else?) borders a few months ago. well, ever since he's been looking for a girlfriend for george (yes, that's the rooster's name) and today, he found some! yay!
in other news, i've decided on what i want to be when i grow up... i think. public relations really interests me and my teacher (the same one who gave me the surprise extension) is going to bring some information for me tomorrow. everyone seems to think i'm too shy for the job, but we'll see... we'll just have to see... ;)
well, i just received the info on the paper, so i'm off to start it. wish me luck.
