Scotland Pt. 1, Etc

Yeah, so Scotland was the bestest place in the entire world except maybe Ireland. Stuff like this:

Twisty Tree

Scotland is full of water. Lochs stretch in from the sea, streams flow down the mountains, and there are cute little pockets of everlasting deep puddles like mini-ponds the size of your foot. All the water is crystal clear and icy cold.
Weeping Glen

Glencoe was the site of a bloody bit of treachery and people still say that the rivulets that come off the mountains when it rains are the hills weeping for the slain.

Lunch Spot

We stopped at a grocery store, got a bunch of meat pies and cheese and sat on the banks to eat.

Life has slowed down now that I quit but I'm still incredibly busy. I've got tons of chores to catch up with that were mostly neglected for an entire year, like the garden, and projects that I've always wanted to get done and I'm trying to take the opportunity now, like making a budget. I spend hours a day in the kitchen trying to figure out recipes that will fit into my restaurant, which I hope to have open within 2 years, I'm trying to get back into shape, I'm going to Japanese class again and I'm about to start DJ school. Plus I'm really, really tired. Years of exhaustion have built up and if I don't get about 9-10 hours a night, I collapse into 3-hour naps in the middle of the day. Whew.
