What a crazy couple of days. Yesterday, little girl got sick and was throwing up everywhere. Hardwood floors: pros- durable, easy clean-up Cons-can be slippery, makes that splattering sound when someone pukes on it
For such a tiny body, it's amazing the force she can put behind vomit.
So, multiple baths, laundry, all that fun stuff. By the afternoon, I was starting to feel like my stomach was crawling up my throat. I had to tap out and call PA. Of course, all kinds of people were out so he couldn't make it home.
Today, little man was acting up so much that he was driving me absolutely batty. As far as we can figure, he must have just been making up for all the attention he hadn't gotten when she was sick. I don't care what his logic was, though, I was at the end of my rope. Anything and everything that he knew he wasn't supposed to do, he would do anyway, with Sister following right behind. I was so frustrated. I tried to call PA to tell him I was taking them to the mall to play, but I couldn't reach him, as usual.
It got better after they went to sleep. Doesn't it always?
-I got a lot of sewing done this weekend. I'll post pictures later.
-I also got something from Ebay to stitch together for somebody's birthday. It was just what I wanted even though it smells like smoke and has to hang on the line for a while.
-I conquered the zipper on PA's pants, if you know what I mean. ;) I finally replaced the zipper after much seam ripping and figgerin'.
-One of PA's coworkers is always bugging me to make more fudge, so I threw some together tonight. I'm also sending a beautifully hand-lettered label that says, "Jody's Damn Fudge." :)
