nonspecificand Z stayed with us the other night on their way to DragonCon.  They are such wonderful houseguests as I feel no need to jump through hoops to amuse them and they make themselves right at home. :)

We all walked down to Grumpy's to revel in the used books. I got the third in the Snopes trilogy that I wasn't able to find at McKay's, a mexican cookbook, and a book titled Fashion Sewing for Everyone that was written in '74 (but it's not like they've invented sleeves since then or anything like that, so it will still be useful).

We went to Nightfall last night. I'm not a big  fan of jazz, but I'm a huge fan of getting out of the house. They sell a great hummus wrap down there that the kids love, too. PA always goes to the Nawlins booth and gets meat in a roll with meat toppings.  Little girl saw a woman dancing to the music and went right over there to join in. Little man wanted to dance with her, too, but couldn't get up the nerve to ask. :)

There's lots of fun stuff going on in town this weekend.  Tonight, we're going to go to Swingfest at Coolidge Park. It's starts at 5:30.   Dan Dameron's band, Sweet Georgia Sound,  is going to be there around 8:30.

Here's a link to other things going on around here this weekend.

friends, fun, family
