Here's some randomness while I clean up the house:
-I think expecting to have 8 happy days in a row was overly optimistic.
-PA's job is having layoffs by the first of the year. I'll be glad when it's over. It's sad catching him staring off into space with his brows knit.
-Also his car decided that keeping oil inside the engine was more than it could handle. It's in the shop now. We're taking him to work and picking him up at night. It's a great excuse to go look at Christmas lights on the way home.
-Does anyone have recipe suggestions for Christmas breakfast? I need something like an egg casserole. Has anyone tried the Breakfast Frittata out of the HPC cookbook (p92)?
-Little man is softly singing "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" into the cat's ear. That cat is a saint.
-Extended family Christmas has death lurking in corner.
-PA got me a new CD player for my car for Christmas and installed it last night. I love it!
-I brought the dog into the garage last night b/c it was so cold.
-PA set a record Friday by not making it home from work until midnight. This is their busiest time of the year.

-Now my car is leaking antifreeze all over the driveway. I'm off the the mechanic's... Okay, now they're saying that even under pressure, it isn't showing a leak. Hmmm.
