Amazon spam and shoe guarding snakes
You really know you've bought some odd books from Amazon when they email to recommmend that you purchase 'Favourite Socks' by Ann Budd
*rolls eyes*
I may do many things but I never, ever knit. Not even if they give me a 34% discount. And Amazon Japan just sends me gibberish *sigh* My email provider doesn't seem to recognise Japanese characters so I'll never know if they want me to buy 'Favourite Socks' as well XP In fact, isn't it just a bit sinister how Amazon always remembers what you've bought from years before? And recommends, not particularly accurately, on that basis?
Changing the subject completely, did you see that story about the snake in Harrods shoe department? Woah, that's a serious publicity stunt with some ridiculously expensive shoes! £62,000?!? o_0
