I sent a chocolate frog to my parents when I sent them a letter today. They've gotten into collecting the cards. My father's working on a new job. He's an architect. He's overseeing the developement of a new building he helped design. I wished him luck. ^_^

When I was returning from the owlery, I met a girl coming out of some sort of passageway. It had been hidden behind a mirror.... I wonder where it went to. She was mumbling about it being blocked. I wonder who she was. She was wearing Ravenclaw robes, but she seemed a little familiar. Maybe we have some classes together. She hurried off after saying hello, though. Did I react badly?
Besides that, my parents offered to buy me a pet. I really want one, but I don't want to burden them with getting me a cat. They'd have to exchange their money for galleons, and then there's getting to Diagon Alley. I suppose Uncle could go with them, but still.... It would be selfish to have them go through the trouble.

It's starting to look stormy outside. I wonder how many people will have snowball fights tomorrow, or tonight. It reminds me of back home, spending hours with my friends until late at night, playing in the cold fields of soft, fluffy snow, and warming up with hot chocolate afterwards.
