First Entry!

Writing in this journal this evening, I am reminded of the day long before I had entered Hogwarts when my mother had given me a journal. To write for the first time in a different place makes me feel... odd. I will still write in the other journal, at least when I'm away from Hogwarts. Until then it will stay close to me- a reminder of my parents who seems so far away without magic, and a reminder to send letters frequently.

I hope that I'll get used to writing in this soon. Has people had them for a while? I'm a fourth year, but I hadn't noticed these until recently.
