I can has new layout?
HI! *waves*
I have things! Things I want to talk about. First things, first:
♥♥♥ I have a new custom header, original art commission by me from the delightful and talented ac1d6urn! *points to new default icon* SQUEEEEEEEE! Acid has gone above and beyond (as always), delivering for me a beautiful, suggestive and iconic art for me to flail at every day in every way.
Thank you also to
snakeling, who did custom CSS layout work for me for all three of my journals (IJ, LJ and DW) in order for me to feature said header. You are both so covered in awesome, idek.
All these years, and this is my very first custom layout. *\o/*
The quote on the art comes from John Ruskin: "Tell me what you like, and I'll tell you what you are.". It was a nod to wishes and desires as well as fandom and the undercurrent of online life.
Acid also did a fabulous job of portraying a darker/more complex/hidden side of me/DJ the djinn/genie, using a familiar set of colours from HP and of course the obligatory nod to a well known TV show, from which sprung my user name and original icon(s).
