I read a few people's Live Journals on here, one of which is Absath. I feel bad for the guy because I can see he is all torn up inside over some girl and that sucks ass! I mean, I think we have all been there at one point or another, but you can't go on beating yourslef up over it. You hear people say all the time, "If it's meant to be, it will be." I hate that proverbial bullshit, but it's true.
Me and my ex-fiance' called off our engagement about 6 months ago. It hurt like hell when it happened, and it still kinda hurts now, but we both know we are doing the right thing. It hurts really bad and you constantly question if you made the right move or if you fucked up royally. And it doesn't stop there. Before I had met mt ex-fiance', I had the most ridiculous crush on my friend Nicole. I would do anything for her, but I didn't keep my feelings for her a secret. I let her know how I felt about her. She had a boyfriend, Sean, who was a self-destructive alcoholic. He cheated on her, drove drunk, mentally abused her, and never showed her enough attention... yet she was loyal to him. I remember her telling me that if they ever broke up, she would love to date me. Well, long story short, they did break up and she dated a bigger asshole than Sean. This guy Mike only wanted to get in her panties hile he tried to win back his ex-girlfriend. And he told her this, yet she stayed with him. Then he dumped her, and she wasnt dating anyone.
We used to hang out, and one night we went to a club, and having given up on her, I hooked up with some girl. She basically hooked up with a random guy just to make me jealous. After that night, I was pretty much done with her. The final straw for me was when she started dating a new guy. He was a nice enough guy, but he was married and she was friends with his wife! I mean, she went over his house and played with his kids and chatted it up with his wife... and then she starts fucking the guy and makes no secret about it to anyone. Well, eventually she dumped him when he wanted to make things serious, and then she moved on to another guy. This one got her pregnant and shes keeping the baby. As far as I know, she's still with him, but you can see what a real piece of trash this girl really is. I opened my heart up to her, did everything I could to show her I cared, helped her with anything she needed, took her mom to the doctors, picked her up from bars when she got too drunk to get home on her own, and yet she chose assholes over me.
The moral of the story? Women don;t want what they say they want. They just don;t want to sound shallow or slutty, so they say what they think we want to hear, but when you pull back the curtain to reveal the wizard, it's just another slut in nice girl's clothing aiming the sniper-rifle at your heart.
