OH MY GOD!!! I AM SO GAY AND I LOVE IT!!!
I can't believe how much i LOVED THIS!!!! Out of the blue at 11.30 a few nights ago one of my great long term friends (I hate to say old! haha! we aren't old yet!!!) But we have been friends a long time... Dave Callan (comedian, radio presenter etc) ... He is at the Athenaeum theatre in Melbourne this Friday, go see him he is so funny! (must warn you he is Irish! haha!)
asked me if I thought it wold be too gay to go see this...
OH YES SO GAY!!!! But we love it!!! An Andrew Lloyd Webber Musical... any question of gayness?!!! (meaning style and class!) It was the MOST WONDERFULL DAY I HAVE HAD IN AGES!!!!
We had a dress code ... Dark, Classy and Intrinsically Gay...
We saw the famous Anthony Warlow as the Phantom....
Oh my God it was amazing... I can't say it enough!! We were 3rd ROW RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE... It was just so amazing, ...the crashing chandelier... the Phantom above us.... I can't believe it went for 2 1/2 hrs... it felt like a second it was so great!
We had Icecream afterwards in St Kilda where we posed as The Phantom in the icecream store....
and Japanese before, which is why I was wearing pearls! haha!
I took the day off work for it, and it was worth it... wow I've been working 6 days a week, and needed to do something to taake my mind off everything, Dave being a comedian was the perfect panacea to my general state of glumness :)
I laughed all day! Thank you Dave!
He gave me some wise words of wisdom ... something like 'We are all carbon, and carbon under great pressure turns into a diamond" Im going to be so faceted soon!!! HAHAHA!
