Um, fail much?
So.
I've been away for the past few days at my school's senior retreat. It's where they take you down to this camp site and have these sessions on what it means to be a senior, and how we should set examples for all the underclassmen, and all that jazz. So yes, quite boring. Not to mention the accommodations gave me really scary flashbacks of summer camp. And GOOD LORD, the road that we had to drive on to get there - since I had practice and got there late - was seriously so freaky. Have you ever seen the movie Deliverance? Yeah, this was basically Deliverance Road.
But anyways. So I get back and was sifting through all my random mail, most of which is letters from colleges/universities saying COME VISIT ME DESPITE THE FACT THAT WE'RE FIVE STATES AWAY AND WON'T PAY YOUR HOTEL BILL. However, there was one other letter that was from a university, but was still technically from a person. As in, it wasn't a pre-typed, add-in-a-name and send kind of letter. It was from this girl who'd graduated from the college last year and was congratulating me on my admissions acceptance ... ... ... I haven't applied to any colleges yet, lol. For one thing, admissions aren't even due until December 1, and I'm taking the ACT once again in September, so I won't be doing anything til I get my scores from that. I seriously just had to laugh at the thing. I was like, honestly? I think it was probably a mistake, but at the same time...it was funny, haha.
It's always funny when it's not you committing an epic fail xD
I just realized that I've only posted one story here on my LJ. I should get on that soon. I have a thought for a oneshot in mind, so I might write that up later. It's basically a PWP, but hey, everyone does them, and as long as they're humorous, I have nothing against them.
