Edie was still in shock over Alison asking about her father.
She remember when the family last saw Joseff, Alison was ten years old and had been sent to a sleepover so the family could discuss certain matters.
“Damn it Judy she's my daughter and I want her to go!” Joseff yelled at Alison's mother.
“Jo, she's too young to be exposed like that, your family has to respect that.” Edie butted in, to defend her daughter.
Judy sobbed, “Your sister is not the best influence for a young girl. Her mind is easily influenced, we have to let her grow more independant before you come rushing in with your philosphies of grandure.”
“Barbara has nothing to do with this.” Joseff couldn't ever defend his sister properly. She was a nasty witch in more ways than one.
“Judy, I am not here to hurt your daughter,” Barbara decided it was time to speak up. “She's got a right to know and I won't have your bigoted illusions get in the way of the truth, you Jesus whore!”
Joseff had fire in his eyes as he glanced at Barbara.
“You better shut your mouth Barbara,” Edie chimed in. “Or else your brother's gonna shove you out the door!”
