check out this spoken word video. i don't know the person who wrote it or anything, but it's brilliant. it really really speaks to what it is like to be a mental patient, especially as a teenager. i don't usually refer to myself as a mental patient, as much as a person with a mental illness, but this is specifically about the part when you are a PATIENT, being in hospitals and what it's like in there and the interesting people you meet and stuff like that. give it a listen/view
