Okay, so I started out a depressed as I've ever been. Really.
I went to see The Gunship last Wednesday and afterwards had it inadvertantly proven to me yet again that not only do I not have any real talent at all I also have a bizarre need to hang out with people who I either bore or annoy. In addition, my cousin Amanda, whom I swore I

Okay, this isn't something anyone likes to hear, especially Americans. Talent is a very, very, very minor part of succeeding at anything. Hard work, diligence, experience, encouragement, and opportunity all contribute to success and the attainment of a high level of expertise much more than talent does.
So what if something doesn't work? Try something else. You are in a great position now: your student debts are paid off which frees up any capital you earn to apply to whatever you want. Shitfire, even if all you wind up doing is shooting wedding videos to make money, you could still make the sorts of videos you want on the weekends. If you wound up working in the editing room at some place like Ackerman McQueen, you could do whatever you wanted when you weren't there.
For the record, you are a very poor monster. You don't keep children locked in a basement anywhere, you haven't tried to exterminate an entire group of people, and you haven't been working to further oppress an already marginalized religious or ethnic group. Whatever problems you think you have are not something you can't lick, it just takes a longitudinal effort with continuous pressure over a long period of time.
If you want to go back to school, or want to get some training, or want a hand with a project, all you ever have to do is call. I'll do whatever I can to help you get started on something, although I might not be able to contribute much money. (some resources, time, opinions, technical expertise, yes... capital, not so much as of yet...) If you (for example) got an associate's of some sort that qualified you for a better paying job, but there were no places in Norman hiring, I'd be willing to take a day off work and drive you around on job interviews. Or if you need a hand getting enrolled someplace, I'd be happy to take an afternoon to chauffeur you about. Or if you needed help setting lighting, or if you needed help running a camera, or, or, or.
Just, don't talk about talent. It's a stick people use to beat themselves up, and none of my friends now, or ever for that matter, deserve self-flagellation like that.

That was a very thoughtful and kind response. It's nice to see my friends being good friends to each other like that.
Maybe someday you'll allow me to re-try my hand at being a friend to you... let me know if you ever decide I'm worth talking to again. ;)
Hope all is well.
