Afterlife with Archie:
So initially when this comic dropped I was like "really?!" because The Walking Dead is huge, Archie comics had to jump on the bandwagon? So I laughed it off and didn't give it a second thought (though I did get a bigger laugh over Archie VS Sharknado and Archie VS Predator)
Then I saw a few scans over on tumblr and downloaded the sample of the series and I was hooked. I hunted it down (The trade (Escape from Riverdale (1-5) and then 6-8) and holy shit you guys.
Let me say this.
I HATE ZOMBIES.
Save Billy in Hocus Pocus and Scooby Doo on Zombie Island, zombies are a major no for me.
But then I read this series. Just DAMN.
If the story wasn't fantastic I wouldn't be reading it but it has me on the edge of my seat and wanting more. Its not meant for children with its graphic violence, mild language, Sabrina (yes Sabrina the Teenage Witch)'s hellbound fate, and hinted at incest (The Blossom Twins), but its sooo worth the read. One of my sister resisted reading, then I gave it to her and said, read it if you want and she did. She loves it too.
So basically my comic pull list is Archie (the new relaunched series which is PERFECT. SERIOUSLY PERFECT. ITS MODERN BUT HOLDS THAT SPECIAL GLOW OF ARCHIE COMICS), Afterlife with Archie and Lantern City (steampunk comic that will be a series that's been in development for like...3 years, we spoke to Raphael Sbarge 3 years ago about it and its finally out)
ALSO ALSO ALSO MY POWER RANGER (specially RPM) FANS
if you had preordered/rented Blood Punch on the release day, you would get extras...FROM RPM given its Eddie and half the cast of RPM in the movie. So far I've gotten a few pics of Milo (Olivia was in the background of one) and 5 shooting scripts (Road to Corinth, Fade to Black, Rain, Ranger Blue, Doctor K) and there's more to come! I can't wait. Though my renting failed (my internet blows and wouldn't stream it) I will end up buying it one day soon.
