Huffing paint

Finally getting to the good stuff - I started painting the living room last night.  I'm enjoying it a lot.  I found a great deal online for something called "the bridge" made by Harmon-Kardon for my amplifier that allows you to control your ipod from your stereo remote.  I've also learned that these type of "non aux" connections to the Ipod show you that 190kbps can sound pretty damn good.

If you doubt me, come for a ride in my car.  bring your own ipod if you want.

Today I learned that even if I don't want to be emotional, it's going to happen anyway.  I'm not talking about spilling my guts like I always do, I'm talking about feeling things more.   Yes, this means I'm finally getting past the walls I've built, but damn, it hurts like it did when I was a little kid sometimes.  Now I remember why I built those walls.

But the old walls need to come down.  Maybe I'll put a nice flower garden in the place where their foundations ran.  Hyacinths for the spring...irises for the summer months....beauty and emotion can be experienced in a more healthy manner.  Paradox - I hurt more when rejected feeling this way, but I am healthier and more open to good relationships as well.

Two parking spaces back indeed. :)

Thank you to my friends for being there this week.  You know who you are.  I am appreciating my friends more and more.  Not that I didn't already appreciate you, trust me.  *grouphug*
