Welp, kick out this year...
...i think that's in order.
We got about six inches (actually, it was a bit less) and it was super-easy to shovel. Light and easy, I had everything shoveled out, the hot tub cleared out and the chemicals checked within an hour. Then I came in to eat some dinner and pet the puppies.
Now I'm off to ski at the mountain and watch the fireworks at midnight. Skis are waxed and I'm ready to go. I plan on spending the time in my personal bubble with the downhill playlist on my ipod (and bundled up, it's supposed to get damned chilly). Then when I get home I'll plunk myself down in the hot tub to work out the stiff muscles.
All in all, not a bad way to finish things out. I'm getting more comfortable being by myself, and enjoying the things that make me happy. The idea of having someone to be attracted to in any way seems so distant and slightly absurd that I'm learning not to miss it.
